You Aint Clutch, You Aint Much!

I just finished this clutch for one of the lifeguards at my work to match her Grad dress. Here is the dress:

A little bit of a variation on the gathered clutch. I think it turned out ridiculously whimsical. I LOVE IT!

Spring Things.

So right now I have started work on a few "requested" pieces. Two purses, a few photography props, and one larger shoulder bag.

I have the pattern for the Grand-poo-ba diaper mat finished, which I have affectionately named the "PooBa", and I can't wait to make it... but I am FORCING myslef to get all my commissioned stuff finished first. (Which really I don't have to FORCE myself to do, I love it!)

New photos to come as things are completed!

Thanks for the input!

Thanks for all the help with the baby change mat design... I think I officially have the design finalized, now just to find the time to sew it...

March is a busy month of us, both at work and home, so I'm starting to think that until April, Round Owl won't be getting the attention it deserves. We literally don't have a free weekend... ack! How did that happen! (Oh, right, both of the boys in this house are born less than a week apart, it is the end of the school year, and I am doing some extra training for work...) I'm super flattered a number of you have contacted me for some custom pieces... I AM SO EXCITED TO MAKE THEM! But I am afraid that I will have to wait until the middle of April to take on any more custom requests other than the ones I have already agreed to. I don't want my "hobby" to turn into a second job...

But thank you so much everyone for taking an interest in Round Owl Designs. I'm loving this hobby, sewing by our wood-burning stove in the evenings has truly been good for my soul.
